This option is designed for families purchasing for one student. At checkout, you will select your student’s English Language Arts (ELA) level, and we will automatically include the matching Discovery Notebook for that same level. You will receive one Teacher’s Guide, one Discovery Notebook, and one English Language Arts notebook: everything your student needs to complete the Around the World unit at their grade level.

Your family will journey across the globe, exploring how people live, travel, learn, and solve problems in communities around the world. Through hands-on science, geography, culture studies, and daily discovery, learners will see how children in many different countries experience everyday life.

Across six weeks, learners will study:

    •    Travel by water through the science of buoyancy, floating, displacement, and stability

    •    Flight and air travel through lift, drag, air resistance, and balance

    •    Motion on land through pushes, wheels, axles, and vehicle systems

    •    Friction, traction, and resistance

    •    Simple machines, pulleys, levers, and planes

     . . . and so much more!

Along the way, students will visit 24 different countries, discovering the food, homes, schools, transportation, traditions, and daily lives of children around the world.

Learners will see how geography, culture, climate, and innovation shape the ways people live and move from place to place.

No subscription. No per-student fees. No hidden charges.
One price for your whole household.
